A collection of chat interactions enabling honest emotional connection

Digital communication is faster, more versatile, and more present than ever. Yet it often lacks emotional depth—especially in times of growing isolation, frequent misunderstandings in messaging, and physical distance.

The system captures core emotions and enables their expression within a chat environment. This is achieved by integrating behavioral patterns such as facial expressions and gestures. Each emotion can be communicated in multiple ways: through reactions to messages, active emotional sharing, or triggering emotions via specific gestures.

As a proof of concept, each feature was visualized in a digital user flow and then either coded or prototyped with ProtoPie to test in real-world communication scenarios.
